Get Yourself A Sites Brain Team

You’ve probably heard about a “brain team”. It’s an idea that made many famous people rich. They all had a team. And a team had a brain. A brain of a whole team. What does it have to do with internet marketing?

So you have started to do some internet business. You need to make money of it. But all you have is some mediocre traffic, which doesn’t make a lot of money. As I told you in previous articles - you have to do some massive action. But first of all - you need to know - what kind of action do you need to do.

Of course you can plan it yourself, but there is a better way. Contact some of your competitors, say “Hi” and talk to them about their business. Here is a most important question you should ask them: “Is there a way I can help you?”

Why should you do that?

First of all, when you are helping tons of your competitors - you learn what you should do to get yourself a better place.

Second, you get a team of people who owe you, because you helped them. It doesn’t mean you have to cheat them and use them after that. You’ll eventually get some tips, ideas and joint ventures from them.

Also, you’ll get to know the most current news in your industry. You’ll understand the most some of the most current ways your competition achieves results.

Eventually you’ll see your competition linking to you. And sometimes you’ll see them asking you for advice or asking for some joint efforts. So, you are now in the center of a whole team of the best in your industry. And what did you do to achieve that? Just helped them (or even just asked what can you do).

That might sound unusual to help your competition. But new age requires new approaches. But I can hardly call that a new way. It’s just a new vision of an old marketing way. It’s a kind of things spies used to get into trust of another country, another company, etc.

Helping pays off really much. You don’t have to always to that, only at start and eventually later. But later you’ll get so big thanks to ideas of your competition that helping them will not affect your business in any way.

1. Are you good with customers?

a. You should be a likeable person with a good attitude and patience when dealing with the public. Working with the public is what this business is all about.

2. Do you have the time to invest?

a. You can except to invest a fair amount of time promoting and advertising your new business. One thing to remember is this is not a get rich quick scheme. You will need to invest your time and energy into this business, but the rewards will be worth the time invested.

3. Do you have funds set aside to invest in advertising?

a. You should have funds set aside for advertising your new business. Many business opportunities will give you the information you need to get started, but this does not include promotions, and advertising. You should expect to advertise regularly to gain respect in the market place. People will not come running to your, you will need to find your customers and sell them your items.

4. Are you looking to get rich quick?

a. If so then this business is not for you. This business will require work on your part to succeed and make a profit. A Personalized Gift business is a rewarding business that will allow you the freedom to work from home providing an honest and very in demand product.

A Personalized Gift business is a great business to get into. You can get started for a relatively reasonable price, that won’t break the bank. You can get started for as little as $20.00 or as much and $5,000. You need to research what kind of gift business you wanna start and then you will have knowledge on what to look for in a business package.

Be sure to read articles and information on what you are getting, before you purchase any kit(s) from anyone. Some places will sell you on information only and nothing to actually allow you to make the product. Search for kits that will give you the tools you need to start a business, plus any software and templates you may need. A good work at home startup kit will give you what you need at a price you can afford. You shouldn’t need to spend thousands on a business startup kit when you can get the same startup kit elsewhere for only a few hundred dollars including software supplies, and information.

Free Bubble Wrap & Popcorn

Where to find it, What to do with it

Bubble wrap is a great way to securely send your items to make sure they arrive at their destination intakt. But when you go into an office supply store it can be quite expensive.

Here in Canada, bags of packing popcorn can be around $8-10.00! So where can we all find this FREE bubble wrap??

I used to own retail stores and at the end of every night we would put out our garbage for the mall to pick it up. We often would find bubble wrap and popcorn just tossed into the garbage. No need to let it go to waist.

So, here is what you do…..

Find a retailer that gets in alot of breakables; then get to know the store owner or manager. Ask them if you can help them out and take all that popcorn and bubble wrap off their hands.

They will be happy to have it picked up as they just don’t need it. And while you are at it, ask if you can have some of the smaller boxes that their merchandise arives in.

These boxes can take up a lot of room as well. The store owner may be happy to have it taken away along with the bubble wrap.

Get all the FREE popcorn & bubble wrap you need! Take it a step further and sell it on eBay.

Why not? Everyone needs bubble wrap. :)

Just sort the bubble wrap and packing peanuts. The ones that look brand new go into the sell on ebay pile. Use the rest for your own packaging.

Next time you’re in the mall, start taking note on which stores have a lot of glassware, dishes, porcelain or glass gift items and anything else that needs to be shipped in bubble wrap.

Talk to the owner and see if they are interested in letting you pick it up. Don’t limit yourself to just the mall though. There are many small stores in strip malls and downtown areas as well. You can find sources of free bubble wrap in many places. And then make room for it all. Have Fun!

How *Crap* Can Dramatically Boost Your Profits!

You’re about to discover something that I honestly believe
can CHANGE YOUR LIFE.

This is a concept that drives my marketing. This concept
continues to make me a small fortune. Today I want
to share this concept with you.

“Crap can make you rich.”

Don’t laugh. Let me explain.

The beautiful thing about marketing online is that we can achieve
RESULTS for anything LIGHTNING FAST.

We can put up some Google AdWords, drive some traffic, and
starting getting results in a matter of MINUTES.

I can essentially write a sales letter, include an opt-in form,
and create a little infoproduct to sell, all in less than ONE HOUR
and have it getting results.

Okay, so the product may completely STINK. i.e. it’s CRAP.
The sales letter may be nothing but CRAP too. And even if
someone DOES order, they’ll be getting that product which
is CRAP and most likely will request a refund. Heck, after all,
I only spent an hour on the entire thing.

But none of that matters. The GOLD is not in the crap itself, the
gold is in the RESULTS.

Everything in marketing has a “Cause and Effect” — everything.

If you put up the WORST CRAP EVER right now on a web site,
something WILL happen. And those results are what eventually
drives a few hundred dollars a month in profit, and eventually
produces several thousand dollars a month, and can eventually
create a small fortune.

Okay, so maybe your conversion rate will initially be 1 out of 1,000.
That’s okay. With enough data that 1 out of 1,000 will become
a solid average and that site will CONSISTENTLY produce 1 sale
out of 1,000 visitors.

Hey, welcome to a CRAP conversion rate. :-)

Hehe, but seriously…

The point is this. There is tremendous value in a 1 out of 1,000
visitor conversion rate — no matter what the price of the product
is. No matter what the offer is. Why? Because it’s GUARANTEED
that you can IMPROVE upon it. You can make it better. You
CAN get MORE people to buy.

All you have to do is improve your marketing. Test small changes.
Try a few little tweaks. Improve it little by little.

Get better and better RESULTS.

Here is something I want you to engrave deep into your brain…

You will NEVER, that’s right, NEVER, launch a site or any
marketing that will be even 10% of “perfect”. You’re never
going to launch a site that starts pulling a 10% conversion
ratio, let alone 100%.

(And before you email me and tell me that a site you
launched pulled a 10%+ conversion rate, I’m not talking about
the results of a strong endorsement someone did for you. I’m
talking about an AVERAGE conversion rate from ALL the
traffic sources you point at your site.)

So why are you spending SO MUCH TIME to get that latest
project launched? What the heck are you waiting for?

Know this… everyday that goes by without you launching
your latest project is a day that you could be using to
test and IMPROVE upon what that project produces.

Yes, that means make you more money.

Your project will never be perfect. You could have always made
it better. You could have always done this or done that.

WRITE THIS DOWN…

“The biggest piece of crap ever created and launched online
makes more money than an almost-perfect project that
was never launched.”

Is my point getting through to you?

The biggest mistake we entrepreneurs make is trying to
make our little projects PERFECT before we are willing
to launch them and see what they will do.

This can be the “kiss of death” for our businesses. Because
until we launch projects we don’t get any RESULTS.

What you need to realize is that RESULTS are the biggest
ASSET to your online business. Even the CRAPPY RESULTS.

Because the results are what tells us what is working and
what isn’t. And believe me, I’ve probably made MORE MONEY
from the results I discovered about things that weren’t working,
so don’t just think it’s all about what works.

So learn to produce projects on an ACCELERATED launch
schedule. Just get the sucker to the quickest version that
will allow you to launch it and start getting ANY results at
all. Then spend your time IMPROVING on the results.

Let’s face it. Many of our projects FLOP. It just happens.
People just won’t buy enough of something to make it profitable.
So we must move on and work on another project. Get it out there
and see if that one starts making money. Repeating the
process again and again.

But think about what I just said and realize something. If you
KNOW the reality that many of your projects will fail, why the
heck are you taking so long to find out?

It’s probably the same reason *I’ve* often delayed things… FEAR.

I’m AFRAID to see my “baby”, my special project, fail. But since
we’ve already come to realize that the reality of business is
that some projects WILL FAIL, we just need to GET OVER IT.

Put that CRAP together and launch it! Unpolished. Unperfected.
Ugly. Yes, I say let the crap fly! (no, not that crap.)

So get your projects launched absolutely, without a doubt, as
quickly as possible. Get SOME results. Any results. THEN
work on improving whatever those results are to increase
your profits.

If you are planning on doing JVs with people for your new
product, or rolling out an affiliate program for it, the
“JOHN REESE CRAP METHOD”
(as I will call it) still definitely works.

Here’s how you use it…

You put together your web site and product as quickly as
possible. Go jump on Google and buy some AdWords traffic
to point at the site. Start tracking the results — no matter
what they are. Make changes and TEST them. Continuously
work to improve the results of the site.

When you’re able to get the site to a satisfactory conversion
level, then and only then proceed with putting together JV
deals and really rolling out the product.

You know, the biggest kiss of death for an online marketer
can be to launch a product with JV partners WITHOUT having
first tested and improved a site’s conversion. Do you think
your JV partners are going to promote your next project
if the initial one completely FLOPS and doesn’t make them
any money? Absolutely not.

SO USE THE “JOHN REESE CRAP METHOD” AND PROFIT!

1. Create and launch crap.
2. Test that crap.
3. Improve that crap.
4. Make money with crap that eventually becomes non-crap.

Seriously. Don’t laugh. This process works. Again and again.
It has made me rich.

Learn it. Live it. Love it. Let crap make YOU rich.

Free Resources For Learning To Program In HTML

Free Resources For Learning To Program In HTML by Dan J. Fry, c.
2003-2004, All rights reserved.

If you decide at some point in your life to start an online
business, you simply cannot function without a web site. But,
how do you go about building your site? Amazon, Barnes and
Noble, Staples, and Office Depot, to name a few, have many books
to assist you in web programming. These cost both money and time.

HTML, or Hypertext Markup Language, was first developed by in.
It is undoubtedly the top web programming language. Online
business owners typically find themselves in an awkward
position; Either pay someone to build your web site, or take
charge and spend the time to learn how to program. The latter
however, takes not only time but money, something that new
online business owners have little of.

Fortunately, due to the primary function of the internet, there
are many who provide free resources by way of their own
expertise to assist others.

So, o.k. Dan, what are they?

(1) HTML Goodies (http://www.htmlgoodies.com) This resource is
listed first for a reason. I think it is the best free resource
available. It teaches by example, which is the best way to
learn. All of the basics and then some are covered: tags,
tables, fonts, colors, alignment, links, dhtml, backgrounds,
images, forms

(2) Dave’s Site Interactive Tutorial (http://www.davesite.com)
Covers all of the basics plus web site publishing and copyright
concerns. Also covers the generation of list items quite
extensively. The nicest feature is the ability to test the
concepts covered within the site. There is no need to copy and
paste to another text editor. Covers a bit of web design as well.

(3) University of Texas (http://www.utexas.edu/learn/html/). A
lot of basics. However, this site goes beyond by covering some
Javascript and dynamic programming. Another nice feature is the
extensive writeup of details regarding different html versions.

(4) HTML Code Tutorial (http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/). I
absolutely love this site. Authored by Miko O’Sullivan the
author of The Idocs Guide To HTML. Very easy to use with lots of
examples.

(5) WebMonkey
(http://hotwired.lycos.com/webmonkey/teachingtool/) Part of the
terra lycos network of sites, I frequently check with WebMonkey
if stuck on some small part of web programming. I don’t find
them to be an extensive resource but good for quick solutions.

One of the most important things to pass along here is learn by
example. This is the only way to learn any form of programming.
You can read whatever you wish. But, until you try it and
understand the outcome, you will never really understand the
language enough to develop even the smallest html documents on
your own.

My site, e-kinetic.com, was designed and built entirely by me.
It took time, but did not cost me a dime. The biggest advantage
was the wealth of knowledge I gained by programming everything
myself. I of course made use of the very same resources listed
above. The best tip I can pass along is to be patient and
persevere. Make use of the expertise of others posted free on
the web. With a little hard work you too can build your entire
site from scratch.

Entrepreneurs: Business - Not By Default - By Design

Design is a vital component of my business.

It struck me the other day when I looked closely at how my business operates and appears in public. I find that nothing I do is left to happen randomly. I design, I plan and project, I piece together, stand back and look. I go back and change things around.

For example: I chose a colour for my office, it was yellow, because yellow stimulates thinking. When I need to design and develop ideas I go to another room, with a wide window overlooking a mountain, with a board to capture ideas, with music and different sources of light to create varied atmospheres to stimulate ideas creation. When I decide to have some thinking time, I will light a special tea tree flavoured incence.

Design not only covers my business card and my logo- or my website for that matter. It involves how I present myself, what I talk about, who my business partners are, what I get involved in and how I choose to contribute to my community.

For example: I choose my clothes very carefully, (”That’s what all women do,” - I can hear you think it.) That is not what I mean; I visualise the environment that I am going to; I connect with the people and then I go and select my clothes - with the main aim of feeling comfortable. Will I organise a lucky door prize? Will I organise several door prizes and what is the intended effect? Am I going to meet with someone outside the meeting room? Will I go in on my own? Will I wait till someone talks to me? - These are all questions that quickly go through my mind and based on what I want to achieve, I will make a decision.

I ask myself: Who do I choose to be? - Then I design and assess my business on an ongoing basis. All comes together in an impactful symphony - running a business by design.

Changes in the Wedding Industry

Along with technology comes change and the wedding industry is
feeling these changes more than most.

Traditionally when arranging a wedding ceremony or function
people send out personalized letters with self addressed
envelopes inside so their family or friends could reply. Still
one has to admit it is VERY nice to get these personalized
invitations in the mail. It does however involve quite a lot of
time and expense to do this though. Imagine if you have 100
guests. Thats 100 personalized letters! Time wise too one has to
follow up all these letters. Time consuming and expensive to say
the least, but tradition none the less.

Well, now there is an easier way to make your wedding
arrangements run smoothly. Personal or Custom Wedding Websites
seem to be all the craze. On many of these sites such as
http://www.weddingwebsitesonline.com you can create your online
wedding site just by entering in the required info in the easy
to use admin panel. It also has a RSVP form which can let you
know instantly who is coming and who is not. Other features
include security - You can password protect your site should you
not wish just anyone to view. Blogging lets the well wishes
leave their message for all guests to see and more.

The nightmare of arranging many people to attend a wedding
ceremony or function has been relieved by this new found
technology. A lot of people like myself prefer the old
traditional method of personalized letters of invitation. But at
the same time I have to admit Im so strapped for time its even
hard for me to sign the invitation, wack it in the envelope and
throw it in the postbox.

Im afraid the time has come for speed and convenience for both
the wedding planner and guests alike. Like it or not Wedding
Websites are here to stay and growing day by day.

How to Start a House Cleaning Business - Without a Franchise

Starting a house cleaning business takes hard work and determination, good communication skills, marketing ability, time management and bookkeeping skills, and compliance with government regulations.

Be Prepared

Research the industry and know what you are getting into before you invest in starting a cleaning business. Read all the free articles at http://www.maiddocs.com — hours upon hours of research have been completed for you. Then, if you decide to start your own service business, purchase the MaidDocs Business Owner’s Manual to prepare yourself for the adventure. You’ll learn how to estimate cleaning jobs, hire and manage employees, run the daily operations, and grow your business.

Getting Started

A professionally designed logo will help to brand your company in the public’s mind. Your logo will be printed on business cards, door knockers, letterhead, car signs, etc., so carefully consider the image you want to present, and then choose artwork which will best reflect that image.

Decide what you will charge for your services. Research the local market to determine what your competitors charge. You must remain within the local standards, and you can undercut your competition slightly; however, if you charge significantly less than the competition, you may end up with less money and more work than you care for. Your growth must be contained so that you can add employees as you need them without raising prices and thereby losing customers. Also, if you have more jobs than you can handle you may not be servicing the homes well, and this is certainly not good for business.

Advertise in the “services” section of the classified in your local newspapers. Keep it short, and ad your logo if you can afford to. Your ad might read “Quality housecleaning with integrity. Call ###-#### for a free estimate.”

Place an ad in your local yellow pages. Research all of your local phone books and notice which ads catch your eye. A good bet is a “knock-out” ad with at least 2 colors. A “knock-out” removes the yellow background and leaves a crisp, attention grabbing white field among all the yellow ads. For a lesser cost you may list your company in the yellow pages free listing column with a knock-out and color. This ad should be a minimum of four 4 lines, with color. For on-line marketing choose pay-per-click advertising with YellowPages.com — this will assure that your listing is shown before the alphabetized free listings.

If you don’t mind hand delivering a marketing piece, then the most economical advertising is hanging a door-knocker on the front door of homes you’re certain can afford your services.

Direct mail postcards are an economical advertising option that puts your information directly into the hands of qualified prospects. You can use labels or merge the postcards with a mailing list and have them copied at a local office store or printer with a high speed/high quality copier. Insist on seeing a sample from the copier before you have the job completed. You MUST deliver high quality postcards in order to make the best impression on your prospects. Flimsy paper with lopsided print, ink rubbing off and jagged edges is not the quality which will get you noticed.

Magnetic car signs can be made by a local sign maker for about $25 a set. We buy ours from our local FastSigns shop.

Be prepared for business with professional estimates, letters to follow-up on quotes not booked, new customer letters, customer
information sheets, maid service checklists, and customer surveys for the first service.

Purchase cleaning supplies at your local discount center. Lists of cleaning supplies, office equipment & supplies necessary to start your business are in the MaidDocs Business Owners Manual.

Commercial grade vacuums will last much longer than home quality. We have found that Royal brand commercial vacuums, crafted with die-cast aluminum, are the lightest and longest lasting available anywhere, and they out clean the competition. Royal Commercial Vacuums come with a lifetime warranty on the motor housing, fan casing and nozzle.

Your own website is a luxury that is worth the expense when you can afford it. Be certain to add your website address to all business documents, and to all of your advertising. The website should have an online estimate form and customer testimonials.

When you’re ready to hire employees, be prepared with your employment application, handbook, policies and guidelines, and all of the appropriate documents you’ll need to manage employees.

Government Regulations:

Get your federal tax ID; local & state business licenses; bonding insurance, and liability insurance. When you hire employees you’ll need worker’s compensation insurance. The Small Business Administration is a great source of information for start-up paperwork and links to informative websites. http://sba.gov/starting_business/startup/guide.html

The IRS website offers a wealth of information for small businesses. You’ll find start-up guides, information on tax credits and business deductions, advice on record keeping and choosing an accounting method, employee tax issues, and more. The most up-to-date tax information is available through the site, as well as forms, publications and instructions for filing taxes. http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/index.html

State tax information can be found at http://www.taxadmin.org/fta/link/forms.html, which provides links to the Department of Revenue for every state.

Here’s a few other sites you should look at:

Business Law: businesslaw.gov - Complying with business laws and regulations can be a burden. To help small businesses overcome this, the Small Business Administration (sba.gov) in cooperation with multiple Federal agencies developed BusinessLaw.gov, an online resource designed to provide legal and regulatory information. Topics covered on this site range from choosing a business structure to hiring an attorney. The site also provides links to federal, state and local agencies.

Employment Law: http://www.dol.gov/asp/programs/EmpLawGuide - This guide describes the statutes and regulations administered by the Department of Labor (DOL) that affect businesses and workers. The guide is designed mainly for those needing “hands-on” information to develop wage, benefit, safety and health, and nondiscrimination policies for businesses in general industry.

Compliance Laws: http://www.dol.gov/esa/regs/compliance - Statutes and regulations administered by the Department of Labor (DOL)that affect businesses and workers.

Cleaning Business System, Documents, Manuals and Forms: http://www.MaidDocs.com - MaidDocs provides step-by-step instructions, lists of resources, employee handbooks and cleaning procedures manual, a database template, a payroll template, and all of the documents necessary for you to run a successful maid service, without a franchise. You must provide the determination, self control and discipline necessary to bring your dream to fruition.

Salehoo: Wholesale Nautical Pewter Charms
Programs that sell wholesale items are known to pull your chain now and then. I have been scammed once before with a system that promised me all of these great things, only to find that I was chasing and looking other places to find what I wanted and needed. I just was not what I had expected. I have seen an upsurge in people looking to start profitable businesses on Ebay and are constantly turning to drop ship directories like Salehoo to source goods and have them delivered.

From the outset Salehoo has been constantly adding new suppliers and verifying them to provide a comprehensive database It is one of the few businesses where a substantial amount of money can be made from single sales. It is a one time membership fees and does not require to be renewed periodically

Salehoo Peanuts Snoopy Fleece Fabric Wholesalers:
Another good market for wholesale distribution is nutrition. Creating a wholesale business that focuses on nutritional supplements or gadgets is a clear winner as people are more interested than even in making sure that they are healthy and fit. And these kinds of items aren’t limited to nutritional stores anymore as well. Even your local gas station is now carrying the latest energy drinks so that travelers can get a little boost of energy. And you can make sure to cash in on that trend.

I’ve just heard they’ve made it half price to join but I’ve heard this offer ends very soon. These wholesalers and distributors have all been fully verified and are devoted to offering you nothing but top-quality merchandise. See Salehoo Review.
