“DAMASCUS WILL CEASE FROM BEING A CITY” ….SYRIA, CATALYST FO

ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS

Syria has become a priority target of US/Israeli preemption in the War on Terrorism. The recent Mosul homicide bomber only validates the Syrian connection, as far as US military strategists are concerned. Our last blog highlighted how neocon policy makers and think tanks (both in America and in Israel) have sought to “deterrorize” the region.

The effort at Mideast reconfiguration on the part of these strategists has been to defang Saddam Hussein first, thereby encircling Syria; and from thence, to neutralize Iran. Although Israelis have brought the Hashemite monarchy into the equation (i.e., as a “tribal strategy” after Saddam’s demise for Iraq), that particular “gift to Jordan” may not be necessary, given the fact that a “working democracy” is all that matters in Iraq in any eventnotwithstanding Osama’s calls for Iraqis to boycott the January 2005 elections.

How Syria’s overthrow can be justified by these policy makers was repeatedly demonstrated in the last article; so now, as promised, we will discuss the Biblical ramifications of the equationand this is the part that the Left just loves to hate (whereas they most likely enjoyed our initial “secular analysis”); but, we’re not out to please either the Left nor the Rightwe’ll settle for the ABSOLUTE TRUTH (don’t you just love that expressionit sounds so final and almost pompous; don’t mean it to be that way, but if you want to take it that way, be our guest).

DETOUR ARTICLE HIGHLIGHTED LIBERAL CONFUSION & BIBLICAL HEREMENEUTICS (i.e., “interpreting methods in Bible Study”)

While taking our excursion down the Road to Damascus, we encountered a most troubling and confusing theological phenomenon known as “Augustinian Malaise”a not so subtle immune deficiency disorder afflicting both the Liberal wing of the Church (throughout the world), as well as Evangelical Dominionists who are “theologically allied” with their Liberal foes. Both wish to reform the current governmental social orderwhether they wish to admit it or not. At least the Evangelical Dominionists (THIS IS AN EXCELLENT SITE) admit it; whilst their erstwhile liberal allies, who abhor anything that bespeaks of inerrancy, denounce their theologically allied Dominionist “compatriots.”

These Liberal foes have no theological idea to whom they are theologically unitedinstead they abhor the barbaric fundamentalists who ascribe to a more Biblical hermeneutical eschatology. These Scofield-Darbyites, along with their total distortions of the real Jesus, have been (in “liberalism’s progressive dialect”) a disaster to American Christianity, whereas PROGRESSIVE and, therefore, enlightened Christian Liberalism’s embrace of Augustinian spiritualization of the Revelation text, demonstrates the real intent of the “prophetic Scriptures” which is far and away the true spirit of Christianity and its gospel of love and social justice!

Christian liberalism (now that their brand of Christianity has been wholly given over to “higher biblical criticism” and the “historical Jesus” can only spiritualize their “prophetic voice” and speak in metaphors and symbolisms from the Revelationhardly a tangible reflection of where most American Christians position themselves today!

Furthermore, what really irks the spiritualizing Liberals is the current Administration’s total embrace of evangelical literalism’s Armageddon scenarioman, does that one get their Liberal goat or what! Anyway, just as the liberals ignorantly and simplistically lump all evangelicals into one camp (i.e., the “Biblical inerrant/literalist camp”); they do so at their own peril by “throwing the baby out with the bath water.” In sum: Not all literalists are your enemiesin point of fact: Biblical literalism that does NOT subscribe to Tim LaHaye’s triumphal Christianity MAY be your ultimate anecdote within America’s current Southern brand of “resurgent evangelicalism.”

THE “BURDEN OF DAMASCUS”

The passages found in Isaiah 17 and 18, Joel 2, Ezekiel 38-39 (including chapters 36-37), Daniel 11, as well as the temple passages in Ezekiel 40-43, Zechariah 9-14; and, finally, Amos 1:3-5, will be covered in our eschatological intrusion along the Road to Damascus.

The Apostle Paul’s conversion on the Road to Damascus turned the fledgling Christian faith, and the world at large, upside down! The question abides: Amongst all the external manifestations of fulfilled prophecy in the Bible (e.g., Israel’s rebirth in 1948; along with Jerusalem’s recognition as the Capitol of the Jewish State and its 1967 take over by the Jews; and, the ever-advancing incursions of the West vs. Islamic fundamentalism) is there another “Syrian Connection” that will turn the world upside down? I believe so . . . . let us examine these passages and the immediate eschatological implications of what we now face (Liberal Christianity hang in there . . . ).

THE “SYRIAN ESCHATOLOGICAL SYNTHESIS”

Throughout these eschatological discoveries, we shall adhere to the following (and, just because it makes rational sense doesn’t mean that the Bible is happenstance in its “prophetical conjectures”):

(1) Syria/Damascus will be the NEXT major prophetical happening among the Gentile nationsshe shall find herself in a major conflagration with both the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) and, secondarily, USA-led coalition forces. This shall primarily be an Israeli orchestrated, but USA-approved, military endeavor. Its primary purpose will be to:

The (unwinnable) Federal War on Terror & Support for Israel

US Occupation & US Support for Israel fule terrorism. The war on terror is unwinnable because it makes more terrorists than it kills!
Global “federal” War on Terrorism “previously Communism” (The war is un-winnable because it makes more terrorists than it kills & actually fuels terror!) Bombing & invading nations makes more terrorists than it gets rid of and drives moderates to decide to become extremists to defend their religion!

“US OCCUPATION FUELS TERRORISM!” Out of 190 countries around the globe - the federal government occupies over 100! That’s over half of the World! That’s also why they call us “IMPERIALISTS!” US occupation breeds terrorism - especially in Muslim countries where it is a violation of their religion (It is forbidden for infidels to occupy holy lands & holy war may be used to remove them!) Photo/T-Shirt available at the link below. Link: http://www.cafeshops.com/terrormotive

You simply can not fight terrorism with an Army! Because when you send an Army into a village to get one terrorist, by the time they come back out (after violently invading homes, destroying private property & killing innocent people by accident or otherwise) you will find that you have many more terrorists than you managed to capture or kill!

“By going after one terrorist in an unjust & illegal manner that violates the rights of others - you will make several more if not hundreds!”

Note: Our founding fathers were revolutionaries & the King of England sent his soldiers to round up these few troublesome revolutionaries in order to squash the rebellion. But after invading homes & private property, the King found out that the moderates (those who were in the middle & didn’t want to fight) had turned & joined the revolutionaries!

The Colonists then terrorized the King’s men all the way out of America by using unconventional tactics that could have only seemed like terrorism to the King’s men! Unconventional tactics were the only way for the revolutionary “farmers” to stand up to & defeat the mightiest military in the world (at that time).

By using armies to fight terror we may make the moderate Muslims overtly side with the mighty US - only to covertly side with & truly support their religion! This could drive the moderates to side with the extremists! But this is just what the Republican Right-Wing Religious Extremists in Washington want as all extremists do. They want to bring about Armageddon! This is them forcing their un-provable religious beliefs on all of us and we may all have to live in a living - fiery - hell on earth if they get their way & are wrong!

At the dawn of the first millennium, many religious extremists or “true believers” gave up all of their material wealth thinking that the end of the world was coming “The Apocalypse”. And so they ended up with nothing when it came to pass.

The Moral of the Story is: “Believe what ever you like but don’t force your beliefs on others by voting religious extremists into power!” Bush wasn’t voted in but took over so I’m not talking about him but many others throughout the history of this nation.

If we stop making terrorists in the present - we well have a much safer future for us, our families, & our great Nation!

But if we fight terror globally with violence, we will fuel terror & the extremists only to motivate more terror! Terrorism will evolve! It took years for the terrorists to hit American soil but they did eventually! They used our planes to attack us & the next evolution of terror will likely be weapons of mass destruction on US Soil!

I don’t want to see this or to see American citizens have to live like Israel! But that’s where we are headed with the un-winnable federal war on terror. Moreover, we are now sending federal agents abroad to pre-empt terrorism from coming here to the US! “Our federal agents going to Muslim Nations - IN VIOLATION OF THEIR RELIGION - will not make us safer but less safe my motivating more terrorism against American!

It is up to us Americans to change our government because these career politicians are corrupt beyond repair & will not admit wrong doing or mistakes, therefore they are doomed to repeat past mistakes as well as not being able to solve the problem - when it is “their fault!”

(Check out this link for a good debate on US support for Israel, for example, fueling terrorism against Americans.) http://pub169.ezboard.com/fgunsandpoliticsfrm2.showMessageRange?topicID=19.topic&start=1&stop=20

“US SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL FUELS TERRORISM!” When US Tanks, Helicopter Gunships, & other US weaponry are used by Israelis against Palestinians, this FUELS TERRORISM!

The US is supposed to be fair & just but WHERE is the Palestinian weaponry from the US?

-Why does the US support Israel but not Palestine?

-Why do we keep guns from the Palestinians (gun control)

-Injustice breeds hatred & motivates men to violence!

The Repercussions Of Bringing Former Terrorists To Mainstream Politics

Today, in many countries’ political realities, tribalist and
nationalist or globalist forces clash fiercely, undermining
chances of peace and democracy. This is particularly topical in
the Middle East, where efforts by established leaderships to
discourage armed conflict have reached a new phase, in which
both Hezbollah and Hamas, organizations labeled ‘terrorist’ by
the US, are nudged to start thinking about participation in
mainstream politics.

The number of countries in the world at the moment that are in
some form of transition is higher than some ten years ago, and
in some ways more efforts are made to resolve situations that
threaten stability. And the moves of all involved parties are
not without major-league risks.

By finally addressing security issues by making a clean
sweepthrough, the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas is slowly
shifting into gear, starting the clampdown on Palestinian
insurgency that has long been called for. he has even told Hamas
fighters publicly to give up their arms, This was a first for
the president who until now has been anything but clear on
security issues. The Hamas leaders according to a report in the
London Asharq Al Awsat paper are reportedly planning to return
to Gaza after the Israelis have withdrawn.

The newspaper report detailed that the leaders are likely to
move their group’s political bureau to Gaza as soon as Israel
transfers control over the border crossings to the Palestinian
Authority. “When a militia turns into a political party, I
believe the issue of a need for arms becomes irrelevant,” Abbas
was quoted as saying. “There will be only one authority, one law
and one legal [armed force],” according to the recently elected
Palestinian leader, who played down the risks involved in the
operation, saying that this has happened many times before in
history.

Hamas leaders however deemed it necessary to reiterate that they
have no intention of disarming at all. “Our fingers will remain
on the rifle triggers until the removal of the occupation,”
Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Masri said, according to the Israeli
Al Haaretz paper. Even though Hamas has participated in the
elections recently, Masri doubted that this means the members
are actually going to function as such. It is remarks like these
that worry the international community very much. US President
George W. Bush has been said to be waiting with inviting the
Palestianian leader Abbas until he has got something of
substance to report. Perhaps an invitation will finally be
extended soon now. The Palestinian leader has installed a
hardliner as new intelligence chief. Tareq Abu Rajab, who used
to be deputy intelligence chief, is known to have played an
important role in a crackdown on the militant group Hamas.
Hamas, which has participated in municipal elections already,
might see next July’s municipal elections turn out in its favor.
“Extrapolating from the present point in time, Hamas I believe
would gain between 30 and 50 percent in the elections to the
Palestinian Legislative Council in July. Fateh is in total
disarray and is searching for its lost identity”, said Matti
Steinberg, an Israeli former security advisor to two heads of
the Israel General Security Service. “Hamas could register
considerable gains in elections and possibly demand to play a
role in the next Palestinian Authority government”, according to
Yossi Alpher, a former senior advisor to Israeli Prime Minister
Ehud Barak. The gains that the ‘party to be’ is likely to win
are largely due to unhappiness of the Palestine population with
the Fateh party, which has lost its identity more or less due to
dysfunctioning of the PA. This is echoed by Ghassan Khattib, the
Palestinian Authority minister of planning. “It is possible that
Hamas, which so far maintains a fundamentalist ideological and
extreme political position, will become a pragmatic movement if
it has the chance to be part of official politics, locally,
regionally and internationally. The rhetoric of Hamas now
reminds many of Fateh’s rhetoric when it was treated by the
“legitimate powers” as an “illegal terrorist group”. Fateh
successfully worked out a trade-off. It was recognized and
included in the system in return for playing politics within the
parameters of international legality”, he says. Some view the
moves of the radicalists to mainstream politics as a positive
transformation and it is surely to be hoped that the
organizations involved in the decades-long strife in the region
that are now close to becoming involved in mainstream politics,
will ultimately disarm. Yet their popularity might be evidencing
real hardship on the ground. Aside from what’s driving the
islamist vote, Israel’s reaction to a possible Hamas inclusion
into the PA might not be favorable and it might be unwilling to
negotiate with Hamas leaders. But then, this might not turn out
to be the case. Prime Minister Sharon who is said by some to
favor a peace process that is open ended might think he has a
better negotiating partner in a Hamas partipated PA. It is also
going to be interesting what is going to be happening with
Hizbollah in Lebanon. Hezbollah leaders have expressed
opposition to disarmament that’s as strong as the the
Palestinian Hamas leaders. So far, this issue, the groups’
status as terrorist and their unwillingness to recognize Israel
as a state has always deterred countries like the US to deal
with them as mature political entities. This is changing. Word
in the diplomatic corridors has it that the State Department
might acquiesce in Hizballah’s entry into Lebanese politics if
it abandons terrorism and severs its political and operational
ties with Syria. This US recognition of Hizballah could serve as
a precedent for US acceptance of a political role for Hamas.

So far it looks like every major move that the islamist groups
make by definition will continue to go accompanied with pledges
to hold onto arms. But one ought to bear in mind that often the
public rhetoric is different than any private action. The leader
of Hezbollah, Sheikh Hassan Nasrullah, recently reiterated that
his group will not give up their weapons. In an interview with
Reuters he said that his party will keep its weapons and will
not give it up, noting that this decision is because of the
continued Israeli occupation and the risks of occupation against
his country. He even snubbed the UN, saying that its Security
Council resolution demanding Hizbullah to hand over its weapons
is ‘meaningless’ and ‘of no value’.

Meanwhile, in Iraq Al Qaeda’s Jordanian-born leader Abu Musab
al-Zarqawi also recently publicly rejected a call from the new
Iraqi president for militants to lay down their arms. Calling
the new Iraqi leader President Jalal Talabani an agent of the US
and Jews, the rebels said they would continue their strife until
Sharia law was established in the country and never forgive the
leader for his “infidelity” and “spilling of the blood of
Muslims”. It is not clear whether the statement, posted on a
website used by Islamist militants is authentic. It is a smack
in the face however of Mr Talabani, who has been quite lenient
to those Iraqi’s who have taken to violence over the past few
years, saying a peaceful solution should be found with Iraqis
who were ‘led astray’ by terrorism. He even invited them in to
participate in the democratic process and offered some convicted
terrorists an amnesty.

Apple Expands in UK, Germany, Targeted by Legislation in France

According to AppleInsider, Apple Computer is planning to open as many as 20 new retail stores in the U.K., a number of new stores in Germany, and a third store in Toronto, Canada.

These aggressive plans follow the recent success Apple has had in moving into the educational computer market in Europe. The company displaced Dell to take the No. 1 spot in western Europe for educational computer sales with a 15.2 percent market share.

Apple has traditionally been strong in educational sectors, but had lost market share in recent years. Now with successful new products like the iMac, iPod and iTunes the company has renewed its appeal to a new generation of younger computer users.

European Apple execs hinted that the company’s next push in Europe might be towards IT departments. According to Apple people, this long-sought-after-market is seeing a shift towards the kind of technologies that Apple has specialised in: instant message, podcasting, and corporate video production.

**French government targets Apple iTunes with legislation

Legislation was recently tabled in the French National Assembly that seems to be targeted at Apple iTunes. The new legislation is intended to squelch services such as iTunes that use digital format exclusivity as a means of controlling distribution.

In other words, the backers of the bill would make it illegal to sell digital music that was formatted so it could only be played on specific players. iTunes downloads can only be played on Apple devices like the iPod.

Some consumer groups see this as a way of charging customers more than once for the same product. Apple is not alone in following such a policy, but the success of iTunes makes the company the most prominent and most visible target.

The bill would also make it easier to circumvent digital rights management technology such as Apple’s Fair Play and Microsoft’s Plays for Sure which the bill’s authors see as a way of restricting consumer access to digital music which they have already paid for in some other format.

The fine for “digital piracy” would also be reduced from the current $300,000 to a mere 38 euros when used for personal purposes.

What is behind the proposed bill is an attempt to create a “global” solution to digital music distribution, where once purchased in one format a piece of music would be available in all formats, and playable on all players. Consumers would pay a small fee and then be allowed to download and share music with very few restrictions.

Predictably, many established artists oppose the bill, while many less established artists support it. New artists are interested in exposure for their music and see laws that restrict access as favoring older, more established artists. Once they become established they become not-so-surprisingly sympathetic to marketing techniques that help them cash in on their success.

In Gratitude

In Gratitude

Dear Taxpayer,

Your none too humble servants all too rarely express their deep appreciation for all you have done to make America all that it is today. We hope this message will correct that oversight.

First and foremost, we thank you for guaranteeing the national credit. We would be lost without it and debt free. We would be a prosperous nation with a government restricted to its enumerated powers. We would have few jobs for our friends and relatives. There would be so few benefits for us we would be forced to serve out of civic mindedness. We would be unable to reward our international friends or punish our perceived enemies, foreign and domestic, if not for your credit guarantee.

We thank you for providing us junior taxpayers for the future so we can let you off the hook for the deficits we will continue to run up in your name. For that matter, thank you for your name, in which we do all things. That has been exceedingly helpful.

We thank you for assisting us to bully the rest of the world to bend to our will. We thank you for minding your own business and leaving us free to do ours, which really isn’t ours exactly. We thank you for assisting us to serve private corporate interests, that will give us well paid jobs should we leave public service and finance our campaigns till then. We thank you for voting and legitimizing the great good we do in your name.

We thank you for pursuing pleasure and entertainment, leaving you little time for servant watching. We thank you for responding to crisis in such a panic we can tell you anything and manipulate your mental state. We thank you for taking your news and entertainment from the media we regulate and control. We thank you for sending your children to our schools so we can teach them what is most important in life. We thank you for incorporating when you go into business, making us partners and extending our control. Most of all, we thank you for your general disinterest in the world around you. For all you do, this screw’s for you.

In Gratitude,

Your Hired Servants

The Day the Music Died - 911

Remember when the Berlin wall came down, and some of us had hoped for world peace? One by one, former Soviet Block countries became democracies and we all hoped for the best. The concept of democracy is difficult for anyone who has not lived in a free society. Therefore, this is the reason for a “learning curve” in the upstart democracies of Eastern Europe and some of the former Soviet republics.

In the United States, we hoped for an end to nuclear proliferation and a chance to make new friends from old adversaries. Some of us also hoped for a Middle East peace settlement, took an eye off terrorism, and “let our guard down.” New words were created like “new world order, global economy, and politically correct.”

We assumed that all of our “allies” were our friends, and you could count on them - like they counted on you. We thought an “open society” was a good concept. We were going to concentrate on domestic flaws in education and health care.

Then, one September morning, we woke to see a different world. When the Twin Towers went down, we saw what some factions feel our lives are worth. We saw it, “up close and personal.” We saw Palestinians cheering in the streets, the French government’s concept of loyalty, and realized the British have been our best friends “through thick and thin.”

For America, nothing will ever be the same again. Shooting a person who pretends to have a bomb is “acceptable.” We willingly gave up our rights for tightened security measures. Most Americans could care less about terrorist rights. If you took a poll today, most Americans would prefer they be executed on the spot. Americans actively boycott most products that state, ”Made in France.”

The rest of the world is puzzled by this sudden “about face” in the care for human rights. The terrorists and our former allies should get a copy of an American history book. We haven’t forgotten 911, and we are not “sheep.” Part of our culture is warm and loving, while another part of our culture is decisive, bold, militaristic, and wants immediate retribution.

We know that fundamentalism is an idea, and it cannot be “killed off.” However, the terrorists didn’t bank on the wrath of the American government and its people. They should also realize that you cannot kill the concepts of freedom and democracy.

The scales have been tipped, and like it or not, blood has been drawn. Some of us need to be reminded that 911 was not a situation that the American government, or its people, chose, but we cannot afford to forget.

PALS in Pakistan Part Two - Pakistan’s Nuclear Arsenal

Pakistan’s current nuclear security situation is uncertain.
While the weapons are in secure storage areas for the present,
their safety in a scenario in which Musharraf’s government
crumbled would be at risk (Mufson). Even assuming Musharraf
retains power, the potential for theft of one of their weapons
is not far-fetched. A significant portion of the nuclear
scientists employed in Pakistan’s nuclear program is believed to
be Islamic fundamentalists who had maintained strong ties with
the Taliban government (Mufson). This could potentially lead to
a weapon either being hijacked using insider information or
smuggled out of the country to a terrorist network. Other fears
include a rogue commander ordering their use during a
confrontation with India, independent groups storming one of the
military sites where the weapons are stored, or a military
mutiny (Bidwai). Pakistan’s military is rumored to be splintered
among a variety of factions, some of which are sympathetic to
extremist Muslim groups (Kampani). While specific knowledge
about whether or not Pakistan has PALS is unclear (at times
Pakistani officials have given conflicting statements about this
specific issue), it is generally believed that the weapons
probably have no password systems and at best possess very
primitive ones (Bidwai). The most recent comments from Pakistani
officials on the matter come from General Kidwai, who told
visiting scholars from an Italian research institute that
Pakistan does not possess any PALS or similar encoding systems
(Cotta-Ramusino and Martellini). This same delegation found that
the only significant security restriction to prevent
unauthorized nuclear use was a “3-men rule” that required the
concurrent agreement of 3 people on the decision to use the
weapon.

Victims of Child Support

“Similar to Medieval Inquisitions, judges have
been given the authority, in secret
proceedings… to investigate, prosecute, and
sentence men without any legal counsel”

The Victims

Extorting monies from one group and discriminatingly and disproportionately
distributing them to another does not constitute a legitimate solution. In the past,
whenever proof has been requested to support their claims of success - they
have been unable to comply. At best, they throw us a few bones, token
statistics with no confirmation (numbers most definitely can be used to lie).

In my particular case, I look at my innocent young daughter with such remorse
for the precarious situation I find both myself and, therefore her, condemned to
under current dictate. And of my beautiful wife, I can only apologize for my
mistake. The mistake I made was during a brief period of emotional decline
between my wife and I. “For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 3:23. In a brief relationship, a woman deceived me regarding her
fertility – not a first, I’m sure. And now, the State, with great pride, rewards her
deception by taking what my daughter has come to know as “her home” away”.
I can only feel contempt for this barbaric tyranny and a need to seek a legal
solution. This deceptive woman has chosen to keep the child and, given her
past, condemned that child to a life similar to her own. Despite formal and
substantiated reports of neglect and abuse, the State sees fit to ignore these
reports, condemn the child, and take the path of inaction. It’s as if the State is
purposefully breeding its future source of Federal funds, grants, and quota
incentives. There are so many qualified adoptive parent/s just waiting for an
opportunity to provide this child with a better chance in life.

Money from Child
Support has not provided this luxury of status nor will it ever. Our website will
include more examples in greater detail of “poor” State judgment.
In a recent Seattle Post report, a man was shot to death by police officers at
the Federal courthouse in Seattle. Though the man clearly went about fighting
his battle the wrong way, his actions are evidence as to the futility men feel.
After the incident, a local radio station stated that, “they were amazed at the
number of calls from area men who felt they had no voice and how they felt
there was nothing they could do”. In the day after his violent death, many non-
custodial parents felt his attempts over the past fifteen years for child support
reform where heroic. The Commissioner of the aforementioned States Division
of Child Support was quoted as “being proud of the strategies and tactics his
agency used” and that ultimately provoked this man to such extreme measures.
Under existing dictate, no regard in setting support orders is given to a man’s
existing debt. Regard is given however to the reality that he will most likely be
forced to declare bankruptcy due to the unrealistic financial burden and that he
will loose everything. To ensure their take, our greedy politicians, like vultures
hovering over a rotting corpse, have ensured, through passage of law, that
child support orders will survive bankruptcy. Unbelievable!! No regard is given
to the effects on his existing family or his existing children. They don’t care,
they don’t even ask!! The horrific result of these judgments is unconscionable.
Under any other circumstances, the emotional distress caused would result in
financial damage rewards.

And finally, what agency exists to protect my
daughter from these vultures dressed in shirt, tie, and/or robe? “If we say that
we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and there is no truth in us.” 1 John 1:8.
Laws are of men and clearly can and do change, evident by the current fears
expressed by feminist groups regarding the future composition of our Supreme
Court. May justice once again prevail.

The Kempler Video of Yitzhak Rabin’s Assassination

The Kempler video is the seven and a half minute

building overlooking the scene at the Kings of Israel Square
during the assassination of Prime Minister of Israel Yitzhak
Rabin on November 4th, 1995 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Kempler video revealed to the public

Almost two months after the Rabin assassination, Israelis were
shocked to read in their newspapers that an amateur film of the
event would be shown on Channel Two news. The filmmaker was
announced as a “Polish tourist”. However, this story changed the
day of the broadcast. The filmmaker was, in fact, an Israeli
named Roni Kempler.

Kempler disappearing from the public discourse and returning
on the Internet

In his sole television appearance the night his film was
broadcast, Roni Kempler explained that he wasn’t interested in
making money. It was quickly discovered that Roni Kempler worked
for the State Comptroller’s Office and was a bodyguard in the
Israeli army reserves. The Kempler video was shown on Israeli TV
in its entirety two times in December 1996 and the name Roni
Kempler was known world-wide. In the ensuing years the video is
never shown in its entirety on Israeli TV, and the name Roni
Kempler is never mentioned in the Israeli media. In July 2005
the video appeared on the web site yigalamir.com and has given
the world its first opportunity to examine it in detail with the
aid of computer technology.

Kempler video used to convict Yigal Amir

The Kempler video was used during the trial of convicted
assassin Yigal Amir, the Shamgar Commision on the Yitzhak Rabin
assassination and used for a brief period to convince the
Israeli public that Yigal Amir did, in fact, commit the murder
of Rabin.

Barry Chamish gets involved

Barry Chamish, author of the book Who Murdered Yitzhak Rabin?,
has written extensively on the contradictions in the Kempler
video and the Yigal Amir murder trial. Mr. Chamish is also a
well-known lecturer concerning the Yitzhak Rabin murder
conspiracy in which he shows his audiences a slow motion recap
of the main scenes of the Kempler video. Mr. Chamish did not
have in his possesion the entire seven and a half minute uncut
video to distribute to the general public, and that may be the
reason why the Yitzhak Rabin assasination conspiracy still
continues to this day.

Questions regarding Roni Kempler

A letter was published in the Israeli newspaper Maariv in
January 1996 from Hannah Chen of Jerusalem in which Ms. Chen
succinctly summarized some of the most blatant suspicions of
Roni Kempler. The letter read: “Allow me to add my doubts about
the strange facts surrounding the Yitzhak Rabin assassination.
You want us to believe that Roni Kempler was a just a “regular
guy” who happened to take a video of the assasination. At the
beginning of the video Roni Kempler was in the “sterile” area
and was requested to leave. So Roni leaves and goes to the roof
of an adjacent building - the perfect place for an assassin. Of
course there were security personal on the roof but those
security personal let Roni Kempler go home with the most
important piece of evidence that existed.”

David Rutstein also gets involved

The viewing of the Kempler video in 1996 convinced Barry Chamish
to write and lecture on the Rabin murder conspiracy and Israeli
political corruption. In September 2005, David Rutstein returned
to Israel after a 15 year hiatus from the country. Mr. Rutstein
noticed that Israeli TV, which dedicated the whole week to the
life and death of Yitzhak Rabin, did not show the seven and a
half minute video but just a few second clip of the murder
itself and many Israelis did not know that the Kempler video
even existed. That raised Mr. Rutstein’s suspicion and he
researched the Rabin murder on the internet and soon thereafter
made a partnership with Barry Chamish to bring the Rabin murder
conspiracy to the entire Israeli public. Subsequently,
yitzhakrabin.co.il and yigalamir.com were built in Hebrew and
barrychamish.com was built in English. In July 2005
www.yigalamir.com obtained the Kempler video and shows the video
free of charge on its website.

Back passenger door of the limousine at 7:17

The event captured on the film that is the center-piece of
doubts about the veracity of the Shamgar Commission is the back
passenger door of Rabin’s limousine that closes before Yitzhak
Rabin enters the car. To almost everyone who watches that door
close, it appears that someone, perhaps the murderer, may have
been waiting in the limousine for Rabin. This is in direct
contradiction to the official conclusion that Rabin entered an
empty car. This occurs at 7:17 of the video as well as at 8:41
when repeated.

Video concentrates on Yigal Amir

But there is more on the Kempler video that contradicts the
official findings. As the seven and a half minute video begins
we notice that the video is concentrating on Yigal Amir as Mr.
Amir is by himself in the sterile area near Rabin’s limousine.
Mr. Roni Kempler, when interviewed, said that he concentrated on
Yigal Amir because of his suspicions. We also notice that two
security officers strike up a conversation with Yigal Amir at
4:20 of the video.

Shimon Peres and the back passenger door

A few minutes later, Shimon Peres comes down the steps and walks
towards the crowd at the barrier. He accepts their good wishes
and walks to a spot about a meter and a half opposite the hood
of Rabin’s car. Shimon Peres is accompanied by four bodyguards.
Peres stops, looks inside the back passenger door of the
limousine and then speaks to the the bodyguards. Peres and the
bodyguards together look into the back passenger door of the
limousine.

At this point there is a cut. Suddenly Shimon Peres is talking
to Rabin’s driver, Menachem Damti. Shimon Peres speaks to
Menachem Damti, the driver, and subsequently Damti, Peres and
the bodyguards again look at the back passenger door of the
limousine. We notice in the video that Menachem Damti’s head is
nodding from side to side to indicate that he disagrees with
something said by Shimon Peres.

Yigal Amir pulls out the gun

Shmon Peres enters his car and Yitzhak Rabin descends the steps.
The camera now concentrates on Yitzhak Rabin and we see the
bodyguard at Rabin’s rear clearly stopping. The rear bodyguard
stopping creates an open space and allows Amir a clear shot at
the Prime Minister. Amir draws his gun from deep inside his
right pocket, circles a student reporter named Modi Yisrael, and
shoots with his left arm. At this point we see a flash of one
bullet, one loud “bang” and two softer bangs. After supposedly
“taking” the first bullet in the back, Yitzhak Rabin turns his
neck to see who shot him. The fuzziness or cuts of the video are
obvious to even an untrained eye. At the time of the shooting
Yigal Amir was somewhat of a shadow. According to the ballistic
testimony at the trial Rabin was shot at a very close range.
Yigal Amir was far away from Rabin so the video was “cut” to
extend Yigal Amir’s left arm to shoot. As well, Yigal Amir is
right-handed and during the re-enactment of the shooting during
the trial Amir reenacted the shooting with his right arm, not
his left. The entire video becomes fuzzy for two seconds after
the first shot and then the video quality returns to normal. The
back passenger door of the limousine closes. Rabin, the driver
and bodyguard enter the limousine from the driver’s side and the
limousine begins to travel. Soon thereafter the video stops.

Mistake that video was shown to the public

The most haunting moment of the video is the seconds before
Rabin is placed in the car, the opposite back passenger door
slams shut. This segment has been examined and tested by
numerous journalists, every shadow on the screen traced, every
possible explanation exhausted. It seems that someone was
waiting inside the car for Rabin. The question arises “Why did
they make this video if it’s so incriminating?” One obvious
answer may be that “they made a mistake.” That may be the reason
why the video is not shown or even mentioned on Israeli TV.
Therefore, the majority of younger Israelis didn’t even know the
seven and a half minute Kempler video even exists. That is,
until its sudden appearance last month and now it’s the talk of
the nation and soon the whole world as the Rabin assassination
cover-up gets blown!

Why U.S. Should Help Illegal Mexican Immigrants

I am Christian, Conservative, and Republican. Having said that, let me say that we are committing a great injustice in how we are dealing with Mexican immigration and the status of illegal Mexican workers in the United States.

Congress ought to support President Bush’s guest-worker program for illegal Mexican workers in the United States. We do owe something to Mexico and its people.

In the 19th century our nation, which was experiencing great industrial, technological and economic growth, sought to expand to the Pacific Ocean. But, there was one big problem. Mexico was in the way. Western land belonged to Mexico.

So, we invented a doctrine called manifest destiny that said the nation that could better use the land had the right to it. We forcibly took what is now California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas from Mexico. This was raw aggression and it was morally wrong.

When we seized these lands from Mexico they became first U.S. territories ruled directly from Washington D.C. Afterwards, when enough Americans from other parts of the country settled into these territories, the federal government in Washington allowed the people in the territories to vote on statehood and to have their own individual state governments.

We can partly correct the great injustice and wrong which we committed against Mexico by giving legal status to Mexican workers, many of whom are doing jobs Americans refuse to do. Most of the illegal Mexican workers are hard working and are already paying taxes from money withdrawn from their paychecks. They have already contributed billions to the U.S. economy and into social security. Only a small percentage of the total illegals are in jail or on welfare.

Let’s do what’s right and help these people become legal.
